Watermelon Smoothie-Tangmo pan

Serves: 4-5 people

Ingredients

  • half of Watermelon
  • 4-5 small ice cubes
  • 2-3 mint leaves (optional)
  • 2-3 fresh strawberries (optional)

Since I am in London, it’s hardly to find a good watermelon. Recently my friends came over to visit and she brought one with her. I am so happy finally I got a good one to make Watermelon smoothie. There are alots of them in the supermarket shelf but how do we pick a good one.

Pick it up: Big or small, the watermelon should feel heavy for its size. Look for the yellow spot:Watermelons develop a splotch where they rest on the ground. When this splotch is creamy yellow, it’s ripe. (However depend on your luck as well lol)

Method

  1. Cut watermelon into half and then scoop out with the spoon or you can do this by cutting a watermelon into cubes then remove the seeds or find seeded watermelon like I did.
  2. Put the watermelon into a blender. For a more refreshing or optional you can add a few strawberries and mint leaves, make sure chop them very finely But if you just want only watermelon it’s absolutely fine.
  3. I also add some small ice cubes in mine because I like to drink it cold.
  4. That’s it! Enjoy the summer drink.
